3 Former TOTR performers nominated for the Mercury Prize!
Adele, Katy B and Ghostpoet who are all former performers at our eclectic night TURN OFF THE RADIO have been nominated for the Mercury Prize 2011.
The Mercury Prize which champions music in the UK will give the winner bragging rights for the best album of the year plus a 20 grand cheque.
The winner will be announced on the 6th September 2011. Past winners have been Dizzee Rascal, Ms Dynamite and The XX.
I for one would like to wish Adele, Katy B and Ghostpoet the best of luck and may the best artist/album win.
DEVolution who consist of Artful Dodger founder Pete Devereux and former Size Records artist Tom Devos will be releasing their debut single ‘Good Love’ on August 22nd on One More Tune / Warner Bros. Records.
